What exactly are you asking? Hard to offer a suggestion when we don't even know what we are shooting for.

The above URL sends me to an error page and says it is an invalid page. The author of the mod says it is a good link and my site does not the use of short url's enabled. So i just cannot finish this mod install because that address above just throws me errors. I do not know what to do.

That address looks peculiar to me. I would not expect to see any directories in the url after a file has been specifically referenced i.e. in your post
index.php/admin/.....
It could be though that the mod rewrite rules have affected the url when it was posted on this site but looking at that url, it seems a bit backwards and should probably be something like
mysite.com/admin.php?op=XXX
where XXX is the function name

If the 'subscription' code is not actually a module, then something like
mysite.com/XXXX/subscription/admin/update_admin/index.php
