Due to lack of use the following modules have been removed;
AvantGo Module
Affiliate Tips Module
Adsense Tips Module
Button Generator Module
Domain Checker Module - search for free domains
Password Generator Module
The Downloads module has been disabled and all currently supported downloads will be moved to our Digital Shop.
Although the majority of Shop items will remain free of charge, we are undertaking this change to ensure those users that download items from our Shop (even free items) get priority support as your downloaded item will be shown in your forum profile.
The future of Spam Stopper
With immediate effect, all existing versions of Spam Stopper will be withdrawn but we will continue to provide support for those that have downloaded the module and notified us of the usage of the module as per the readme.
The Code Authors Spam Stopper module relied in part on users submitting spam and hacker reports through it's built in reporting feature - this required at most, two mouse clicks as the form was automatically populated and did not even require any typing.
Sadly, only a few people bothered to use the reporting feature so the community as a whole could benefit and for that reason, those users will continue to have access to free upgrades of the module.
There are a vast number of enhancements I'm considering and in the process of testing but as yet, I am undecided on whether to make it a paid for script or keep it free.
If you are using Spam Stopper then now is the time to put your case. |

Just a quick note about the shop
It doesn't track when people download the free files, only on purchased files. I'd say it sounds like a good idea and I should put it in for 2.0.8, but I've already done that 100 times and it has been taking forever to get all this stuff done
On a side note, I have a little code snippet that will import downloads files and categories to the shop. It's a little quick & dirty, but it works good. I'll send it to you in a PM |

That's because you keep blowing up your PC
Seriously though the snippet might be handy, so thanks for that whenever you can dig it out - it isn't desperate.
No problem on the tracking, I'll just set a nominal fee like 10 cents or something
I'm just trying to cut down my site maintenance (18 sites up to now) as I want to spend more time on RN and developing new modules/improving Spam Stopper etc. |
