Work on CA Gallery v2.1 has begun and a working demo will be available in the next few days.
Enhancements over v2.0
Optional flash player - turn it on/off or use it at the same time as the conventional display of galleries.
Completed
Option - (on/off) allow registered users to submit the name of their own public Picasa gallery which users can then select to view. |

Thanks, I should probably make the 2.1 demo gallery available since it's about 90% complete. |

Cannot wait to see it. This was a great idea. Use the gallery keeps the images off of the host and saves space but moves pretty quickly loading the images to the site and to be honest. It does not look that out of place while in Nuke. Usually add ons like this look obviously out of place inside of nuke but this does not. |

In v2.1 you can cache the images on the server if you want to, it is done automatically if the cache directory is writable. If it isn't, it will just fetch the images from the Picasa account at Google every time.
I'll get the demo live in a few minutes. |

Just to keep everyone following this up to date...
V2.1 was put on hold due to some changes within RavenNuke and I thought it better to wait than have to create yet another version.
In the meantime, life got busy and I got lucky enough to land a contract for a blue chip company so I never got around to finishing this. I have just release a Testimonials Module and have another module in the pipeline as well as a couple of stand alone scripts, so hopefully I can pick this up again very soon. |
