Yes, that's right folks, we are teaming up with one of the industries leading Open Source providers to provide you with a world-wide CDN system.
As most of you will know, a CDN (Content Delivery Network) has the potential to speed up your websites response by downloading some files (such as CSS, Javascript libraries etc) from servers much closer to your users location than your own server. What is more, it means file caching can be much more efficient and you can even use compressed/minified files much more readily.We are interested in WHAT files you would like to see in the CA CDN, for example jQuery, so we can get everything ready for you when we are live.
Would you like us to host some of your own files on our CDN?
The only caveat for use with this facility is that the files / source code MUST be Open Source, since this is a Public Open Source Project.
